Burger or Hamburger is savored as the most desired fast food meal in the United States. A hamburger is basically a sandwich prepared by stuffing ground meat patty, generally beef, between two slices of a bun cut in half. Hamburger is also famous for its seasoning. Most popular condiments used in hamburgers in the United States are mustard, mayonnaise, and ketchup. Besides ground meat patty, hamburgers are also stuffed with lettuce, onions, tomato slices, pickles, and cheese.
Hamburgers are also categorized into two types in the United States. Fast food hamburger and individual hamburgers served at restaurants are two basic types of burgers served in the United States. The individual hamburgers served at restaurants are prepared using everything including lettuce, onion, tomato, and sliced pickles as well as melted cheese on the patty or crumbled on top. American restaurants also serve veggie burgers for those who don't relish meat. Cheeseburgers are also hot favorite in the United States.
McDonalds is the most popular fast food burger restaurant serving different types of burgers in the United States. On the other hand, there are several restaurants such as Burger King are famous for serving the best hamburgers in the United States. Service is extremely slow. The chocolate shake I ordered was excellent, so that is why they are getting three stars instead of two. I ordered the jalepeno burger which was also very good. All of the patrons in the restaurant talked amongst themselves regarding the slow service. For a burger joint, all three in my party agreed the prices were too high. Sign on wall reads "Unattended Children will be served espresso and given a free puppy".

Good portions. We had good service and the food was generous and tasty. Wouldn't hesitate in stopping by again when in the area.

Expect a long wait which they even have a sign that said this is not fast food for warning lol, but the food is yummy. We shared a coconut malt shake which was delicious and a burger. One in our group had the Reuben which was a huge sandwich. I give it four stars cause this is my second time and still a good experience :)

The food is good. I love the foot long coney, but everything seems to be a little overpriced. The milkshakes are delicious, and served in two cups so you can share. Neat little place, but really slow when it gets busy.

I will start off with stating the food was good, however it was not worth the wait. I walked in (you seat yourself) and I wasn't greeted or even acknowledged. After 10 minutes I still had not been greeted or brought a menu. Luckily, a table near me (who arrived before I had) had waited long enough without getting to place their order, decided they were going to leave, so I snatched up one of their menus. Another 5 minutes passed before I was asked if I had been helped. Said no, and placed my order. Before I could even say that I also wanted a milk shake and onion rings, POOF, the guy was gone. In the THIRTY minutes following, I watched 2 more tables get up and leave after sitting there quite some time without an acknowledgement. Since when does it take 30 minutes to cook a kids burger and a burger with an onion ring on it? Not once during my wait was I asked if I'd like a water refill, despite my cup being empty. Finally got my food, ate, and sat there for another 15 minutes waiting on my check that never came. I finally took my daughter's food and went and stood up at the bar where you pay, for another 5 minutes to get a box. The waitress assisted 2 people with paying then left me standing there. Needless to say, for the 1st time ever in my life, I did NOT leave a tip.

eh...just okay. Service was incredibly slow and our waitress passed our table probably ten times before anyone even acknowledged us. Food was fair, not as impressed as some of the reviewers. I don't think we will be back.
(2)Jennie L.
Great milkshakes, good burgers. It took quite a while to get our food, but was worth the wait. Burgers were between $8-10.
(4)Nancy N.
I liked this place a lot! It accommodated our large group and served our special ordered burgers at the same time and hot!
(5)Kari H.
The food was great! The service was bad. It was Thursday of spring break. She said they were out of so many things. I got a cherry coke, with no cherries. We got 2 milk shakes, with no cherries. She said, we're out, we've had a busy weekend, I said, it's Thursday. My son ordered a "kids soda" (picture of a bottled coke on the menu) no it was a small drink in a paper cup. Thank goodness the burgers & fries were excellent or this would have got a rating of 1! FYI, Safeway sells cherries and they are right across the street from you! They also sell small bottled soda! Your coke bottle picture on the menu is deceiving.

I was a bit confused walking in and nobody said high or anything. I seen a sign saying in an effect, seat yourself. My wife and I sat there for awhile wondering what we need to do to get service. Another couple came in and sat in the both on the other side of the room. A waitress immediately took their order then came over to our table. After we got our food she brought the bill over and said nothing. We looked around wondering where to pay. On our bill we had an extra charge so when we found out where to pay it took more time to redo the bill. Service is not a priority here.

I first ate here back around 2000 or so...I have to say the place has gone downhill since then. When we came here recently, there was nowhere to sit...nowhere that had been bussed and wiped down, that is. We finally decided to do some bussing ourselves and sit at a table that, for some reason, had been formed into a "T" with another table. Our perpendicular neighbors at the other part of the T were anything but demure, but that isn't the restaurant's fault. What is the restaurant's fault is charging so much for so little. Our server was very friendly and very apologetic (they were completely understaffed for a weekend on the coast), but that only went so far. The shake was good, the fries were just OK (a half notch below McD's), and the plain burger was quite literally a plain burger: a small preformed patty and a bun, that's it. For a fraction of the price we paid, we could have done a drive-thru in town and gotten better or at least equal food quality (with the exception of the shake). By the end of our meal we were wishing we'd done just that.

I had a burger, and i don't really remember what kind. What I DO remember is the milkshake. you combine two flavors and mine (Roca Toffee Cheesecake) was probably the best drink I've ever had. They also give you the tumbler it's made in which is enough for two to three full glasses. My fiance had the chili-burger which was fantastic, and a peanut butter Oreo milkshake. Both were fantastic. The prices were pretty good and especially for the milkshakes. On a side note we went between shifts and there was only one waitress. Most of the tables were dirty and she was pretty swarmed with people sitting down. So service took awhile.

Every time I've come down to the coast I always stop by for some good ol fashion diner food. The milkshakes are amazing and I highly recommend; they give you a lot for a good price. The food is fresh and I've never been disappointed. The atmosphere is fun and quirky 60's and 50 memorabilia with an old juke box that plays fun music throughout the building. The staff are always nice, helpful and very accommodating. The only thing I would say is they need more help as our waiter seemed to be a master a multitasking and doing his best to help everyone in the restaurant. But because he was doing a lot me and my girlfriend did have to wait but it wasn't long and in the end we both we're very happy with full bellies filled with yummy shakes and burgers. I recommend this place to anyone for good ol fashion comfort food. This is not a fast food joint. So expect a wait for amazing service and food.

This place rocks !! Walk right in, sit right down. The custom made shakes are huge, Banana/Choclate, Vanilla/Cherry, whatever you want, served in a classic goblet with whipped cream and a cherry plus an equal amount of shake leftover in the steel mixing cup (which is also left at your table) The Patty Melts are awesome and the Pulled Pork BBQ sandwich is to die for. A family friendly environment means you don't have to tell your kids that they can't behave like kids. The jukebox is more 70's rock than 60's but there is still a great selection of both plus older as well as newer music. Resonable prices, great food, take the kids or even go it alone. Locals and Visitors, you won't be dissapointed :o) XXX

When I first saw the photo of Billy' Buster Burger, I didn't think it looked that big. But when I saw the monster burger with its mound of fries placed on the table in front of me, I knew it was game time. With over a pound of ground chuck, cheddar and swiss cheese, bacon, ham, egg, sauteed mushrooms, onions, lettuce, and tomato, this was a respectable challenge. The fries were crispy and hot and there was a lot of them. Overall, this challenge ranks high on our list for the over all size and for the nice walk on the beach we took afterwards. Pass or fail, this burger will cost you around $25 but you get a cool t-shirt if you finish it. The 60's Cafe offers a glimpse into the past for diners who want to relive the days of real hand dipped malt shakes and rock and roll on the jukebox. The staff was not surprised when we ordered the burger, but quickly amazed at the speed it was dispatched. They were friendly and got everything we needed. If you are looking for a stop on the coast for good diner style food and a break from the casino's buffet, pull into the 60's Cafe. youtu.be/wsgQwrCYaXI

Pretty good place for burgers & shakes.

They treat their employees like shit! Don't eat here! This is the worst place that I have ever worked, I used to be in the Navy and had the worst job available with little respect, even less from this place. They treat us like shit and then expect us to bend over backwards for their lying family members that they employ. They run a horrible business and give their worst employees the most power. Eat somewhere else and support a business that cares about their employees not just making as much money from their customers as they can while lying to and stealing from their employees!

Burgers and fries are delicious, and service is good. What more could you want? Place was pretty clean and I liked the décor.

This is my first one star review. We seated ourselves, per the sign, and were served water... and then we waited for almost forty minutes. I put our menus right on the edge of the table, so that they were jutting out, and the waitress passed us several times, and even looked at us, but didn't even acknowledge our presence. After we got tired of waiting, we left without ordering anything. I am extremely forgiving at restaurants because I've worked in food service, but this was absolutely unforgivable. They weren't even particularly busy. Do not bother with this place.

Warning - You have to seat yourself. Ok, PSA, out of the way... Not sure what everyone is so sour about. It's a 60's Themed Diner in a resort town located next to the Laudromat. Lets set the bar appropriately. The place is just casual to the max. You want your butt kissed, get down the road a peice with the rest of the tourists. I just had a great burger at a reasonable price. The fries were great. The atmosphere was as expected for Lincoln City; antiques of the 60's diner vintage. I normally just go in for a chocolate fountain Coke because Pepsi has a strangle hold on this town. Glad I tried the burger this time. The You-Betcha Burger is an innapropriate amount of food. They suggest you share. I think that's a great idea.

I think this is the worst restaurant experience I've had in some time. Walked in and it was unclear if it was self-seating or wait for a table. The staff just stared at me without as much as a hello. I found a table (I'm thinking it was self-seating but still am not sure) and sat there looking at the menu. I sat some more. Then I thought about leaving as I sat some more. A couple tables came in after me and at least were asked if they wanted to start with a drink. When a waitress finally wandered over, I ordered a 'Surfer Burger' without pickles or house sauce. Of course, the food arrived with both so I had to send it back. The burger that came back fell apart as I was about to take my first bite. Don't know if they sabotaged it or they just use buns that can't handle the avocado, onions, and mushrooms that topped the burger. The burger lacked flavor and I resorted to adding salt and pepper. They have a lot of nerve to charge $9.95 for this garbage. Of course, the waitress did not check in once and then sat talking to her coworker when I tried to hand her my money (she was at the cash register). They obviously don't want my business in the future and you can be sure they won't get it.

First Restaurant we tried here at Lincoln and the worst experience we ever had.... Worst customer service, worst food, and the place was dirty... when we come in, hubby said they are so high but I told him maybe its home made bread and hand made burger patty and it smells good maybe they are good.... I should have checked yelp first... I cannot eat the burger the meat has a taste I cannot even explain. The waitress just throw away the food at our table didnt even ask if we need any sauce or anything else, never checked back on us and didnt give our ticket, we end up standing by the cashier so we can pay.... We will never come back! People avoid this place.

We tried to come in with an open mind as my sister in law had eaten once here and said it was "tasty". Well, sadly I must report that the dismal service continues on, echoing previous reviews. We were approached soon after sitting and were given menus, off to a good start. The non- smiling waitress then took our order of both drinks and food. Not thinking to get our drink order and go get the drinks while we decided on our meals. When questioned, she claimed the large fish and chips was 6 pieces and the small was 3 pieces. We ordered one large and two smalls. The food took quite a while and arrived with 2 small pieces of fish in the small and 3 small pieces in the large- which costs almost twice as much as the small order. But no drinks yet. No silverware. No napkins. We asked a passing waitress for something to eat with and she headed back where we observed her giggling with our waitress. When the napkins arrived and eventually the silverware, we reminded her we needed our drinks still. She brought 4 of the drinks but failed to being the two waters requested. Waitress constantly reached in front of two people's faces to set the wrong things down in front of people. Eventually we had what we ordered but of course no straws for the shakes....seriously! Truly bad service even for a very basic lunch spot. My bar of expectations was set low, due to the other reviews--but this was pathetic. Food was ok. Portion of fish too small. Patty melt tasty and large. Shakes good-as long as you don't mind eating them with a spoon! Even the "magic 8 ball" on the counter didn't work when we asked it if this was the worst service ever! I would say PASS on the 60's diner that was outfitted in 50's memorabilia and played music mostly from the 50's and 70's.

I have to agree with Roy... This is NOT the place to go if you want attentive, friendly service. The self-seating thing is a bit odd in a space this large, but I've been a few times now so I know to just find a seat. The food is ok. If you order a shake it's HUGE. Prices are reasonable and they have a pretty big menu. I've never had anything but the crab melt, but it was good both times. And you can get cherry coke, which earns it an extra star from me! The atmosphere is nice. Lots of fun art and pictures on the wall. So if you can deal with only seeing your server to take your order and drop off your food, then this is the place to go. Look at it this way, saves you money on tip.
(3)Jerad G.
Let me start by saying I came here during spring break. On a Saturday. Long story short it was busy. You grab a menu and seat yourself. Eventually a member of the staff will come take your order. I waited 15 minutes to order. I'm willing to let this slide. spring break weekend is busy at the coast especially during lunch hours and they had a packed house. I saw people come in who couldn't get a table and left after waiting a few minutes. I order chicken strips with a bowl of clam chowder. The chowder was good. Not the best I have ever had, but it was good. And is a staple of the menu of any coastal food stop. The strips were good sized and delicious. The fries were battered and flavored perfectly, but I think a larger portion for the price of meal would have been good.It also came with garlic bread and I think it was a tasty addiction. The special cherry coke they make is tasty as well. They really work hard at presenting 60's vibe in their place. Lots of tacky Elvis, Beatles, and Marilyn Monroe stuff on the wall. With pictures of old cars and a statue of Popeyes. It's a good place to eat, with good food. I just don't think the meals are equal to the price portion wise.
(3)Mike S.
The theme piqued our 11 year olds interest as we drove down the coast. Turned out to be in a strip mall. Not busy on an August Sunday evening. The theme was a lot heavier on radio controlled airplanes and absent any real 60s nostalgia. A plastic duck with an Elvis hairdo? Fried mushrooms for a starter, cooked too long with a slight burnt flavor. The 11 year old had the mac and cheese and remarked "looks like Kraft, but it's not, and not good." My wife had the French dip and the sandwich alone was so salty she left more than half on the plate and left hungry. I had the soup and salad. Not bad, not great, chowder about what you'd expect from a strip mall joint. Service was prompt and courteous. If I were forced to eat here again, I'd give the burgers a try. Skipped the pricey shakes and malts and headed on down the road to get some ice cream in Newport.
(2)Kristen W.
I had a terrible experience here. I ordered my food for 6 people and then the younger waitress didn't put one of the orders in, we had to wait about 45 minutes to get our food that we ordered. I was really disappointed by their service, because I really love this place it's sad to see what this place has come too.
(1)Rex R.
I can't really add much to what has already been written on yelp. I should have taken the yelp advice and my instinct to run out the door when I walked in. In defense of the staff they were all understaffed and working hard but there is only so much a few people can do. Our waitress was friendly and efficient but still could not keep up with a full house of people. She did her best but with 1 cook and 1 waitress along with an all purpose guy trying to help and do dishes and clean tables there was no way this would be a good time.
(2)Cameron H.
This place probably doesn't deserve the beating it's taken on Yelp. My biggest complaint is probably that it's priced at what it wants to be rather than what it is. The food is fine, I just don't think it's worth the ticket price. So it's totally reasonable to pay a visit- the atmosphere and food are fine- but I think you'll pay more than you think you should. But you're on vacation!
(3)Nicole P.
Really expensive! The food was about the quality of Burger King. We won't be going down to this restaurant again. There are many other restaurants in the area that are amazing I wouldn't bother with this one.
(2)Samantha S.
Went here for lunch today and the food was good, but service was very bad. I finished my beer and wanted another, but our waitress was at the counter talking to a co worker and completely ignoring me when I was trying to get her attention. I finally went up to the counter and asked her for another beer. She looked at me like I had just slapped her. My girlfriend also noticed this from across the restaurant. There were only three other tables in the restaurant. I have never had a server be so blatantly rude to me. I think her name was Anna. I hope she reads this and understands why we did not leave her a tip at all.
(2)Russ K.
Awesome service at this nice little place. I got the jalapeño burger, it was great! The fries are amazing. Sounds like the other reviews on here are from stuck up rich folks visiting the coast. Would recommend to anyone wanting a nice lunch out at the coast.
(5)Molly M.
The only star they get is for the Tuna Melt. Table of four, seat youself and waited 15 minutes to even get drinks. We were only one table of three full in the place. Seriously? That was the first visit. So we come back, our next trip to the coast thinking we'll give it another chance. The waiter takes about 10 minutes to get to us in a half full restaurant, saying they just got done with a rush and their systems went down, we say something about the last time we were here and the server simply says "then have a nice day" and leaves the table. We were dumbfounded! We won't ever be back, which stinks. Best tuna melt I've had in a long time. Service sucks, management was even worse, and the food was a 3 out of 5....maybe.
(1)Dan S.
This place is a dive. We were starving after a day at the beach, and it took forever to get our bacon cheeseburgers. How long does it take to cook a couple hamburgers? The bathroom was a disaster area, with both the toilet and the urinal leaking large amounts of (clean luckily) water. Couldn't get out of the bathroom fast enough. The booths and tables are all trashed and falling apart. Did I mention it's a dive? But I will say the burgers, once we finally got them and woke each other from our comas, were pretty good. Not worth actually going here, but a pleasant way to end this experience.
(2)Lynn W.
What a great surprise this place is! 4 1/2 stars until I try a wider sampling from their menu.... heh. :D I'd held off trying them because the Yelp reviews were only so-so -- but then I noticed that most of the mediocre reviews were a couple of years old -- or older. And since I really do need all the good hamburger joints I can find -- I took a chance. And hit the jackpot! First -- I ordered a chili-cheese burger (see image) -- always a good test of a burger cafe's metal. What I got was an open-faced burger, covered in chili and shredded cheese and surrounded by a school of amazing fries. The fries were slightly battered in a crunch-crunch-crunchy thin seasoned coating -- and steamy / fluffy inside. In other words -- perfect! They weren't salted, and so were great slathered in ketchup, or just used to scoop up the chili from the burger. I also had a cherry Coke -- in a tall 16oz Coke-bell glass, with a cherry on top -- excellent nostalgia points for that. But the revelation came from watching what everybody around me was ordering and enjoying. Evidently -- the big draw here is the fountain milkshakes -- because every single other person in the cafe was enjoying one. Next time -- I'll be trying one for myself. And every plate and basket of food that came out the the kitchen looked good -- and the enthusiasm of the customers about their meals was obvious. The menu has all the local goodies -- chowder, fish and chips etc. -- plus a wide variety of burgers, dogs, salads, and sandwiches, with the lowest prices starting in the $6-7 range, and the highest coming in at about $13-15. You get fries, coleslaw or their fresh made potato chips with all the sandwiches -- plus they have uber-munchies like baskets of onion rings or tots that can munch a whole table..... Add to all those winning details the cute 60s decor and the juke-boxy soundtrack in the background playing "Time of the Season" and "Nathan Jones" -- and it's a great little family owned local business with as many townies as tourists filling the booths. Next time -- a plain burger basket, and a chocolate malt.

Really cool, fun & family friendly place with good value and tasty food. Excellent staff. Awesome shakes. This was our third visit over the past few years. We will return.
(4)Trevor W.
Ok place, but ultimately would not recommend it. It's a seat yourself setup but the servers don't pay attention to who comes in so we waited 20min before being greated. Our table was dirty and the chairs sticky. Looking around there was food and trash all over the floor which made us wonder about the kitchen =/ The food was expensive and portions lacking. We had the burgers and they were OK, except a strange aftertaste. The fries were battered and good. The one thing that was good was the milkshake. I would recommend a stop by for milkshakes, nothing else.
(2)Jennifer S.
We were leaving the coast on Father's day and all breakfast shops were crazy busy. We thought it would be fun to go to this cafe and have some burgers and shakes. The burgers and shakes were lovely.
